Eva Longoria and husband welcome their first baby together

43-year-old actress Eva Longoria gave birth to her first child in Los Angeles on June 19, and she didn’t take long to reveal the first photo of her and her husband’s José Bastón newborn to a famous magazine.

The Desperate Housewives star and the Mexican businessman gave the exclusive to Hola! USA, sharing their first impressions and feelings about their little bundle of joy, which they named Santiago Enrique.

Longoria looks beautiful in the snap, holding her baby in her arms as she looks at him with a loving expression. The baby is only partially visible, wearing a hospital beanie to stay warm as he rests on his mother chest.

‘We are so grateful for this beautiful blessing,’ Longoria told the news outlet. The baby arrived over two years after the couple exchanged vows in a lavish ceremony that took place in Bastón’s homeland.

While the boy is Longoria’s first biological child, Bastón was already the father of three children from his previous marriage with actress and model Natalia Esperón, named Mariana, Natalia, and José.

Back in March, Longoria shared that parenting was not going to be something completely new to her, as she has had plenty of experience with Bastón’s children.

‘We have three children already. I have three stepchildren so it’s not like it’s anything new. We have a very strong relationship and we both feel on the moon,’ Longoria expressed.

Santiago Enrique weighed 6 lbs, 13 oz., and he was delivered at the Los Angeles Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

During the latest stage of her pregnancy, the actress shared her anxiety to give birth as soon as she could, as it started to become very difficult for her since she got so big.

‘These last weeks are so uncomfortable, you guys. I’m back to sleeping so much. It’s hard to breathe again,’ Longoria admitted in one of her Instagram stories a couple of weeks before giving birth.
