Melania Trump dazzles in a Chanel dress with revealing back at official state dinner

President Donald Trump and his First Lady Melania had a state dinner with the French President recently. Melania chose to shine at the event in an eye-catching dress.

The dress was designed by a French fashion designer as a nod to the French President. She looked stunning in the sequined number according to Pop Sugar on April 24, 2018.

People have always had an interest in what Melania Trump would wear out in public. So far, she hasn’t disappointed as she’s always managed to stun even her most critical critics.

She caused quite the frenzy in a tall white hat while welcoming French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife, Brigitte, to the White House on Tuesday. The First Lady made sure to take things up a notch for their dinner.

She wore an open-back Chanel dress for their lavish meal. The dress was designed with silver sequins that shone in the light and caught the eye.

The French First Lady, in turn, wore a sophisticated ivory sheath with crisscross chain embroidery.

Melania's sparkly spaghetti straps and the red soles of her Christian Louboutin heels still managed to steal the show. Her Louboutin’s could be seen peeking out from under her dress's sheer hem.

The US First Lady conjured images of her as a supermodel on a runway. The French President and his wife arrived at the North Portico before a State Dinner at the White House, in Washington, DC.

They are there for a two-day visit. Donald welcomed the Macrons in a traditional state arrival ceremony on the South Lawn of the White House.

The two leaders later held a joint news conference, where they took questions from reporters according to CNN. Emmanuel will spend less time with Donald on the second day and will address Congress at 10:30 a.m. ET.

He will then head off to an event at George Washington University. President Trump, while giving a toast on Tuesday, thanked his First Lady for organizing and arranging his administration's first state dinner.

"May our friendship grow even deeper, may our kinship grow even stronger, and may our sacred liberty never die," he said as he toasted the French President.
