A royal expert revealed what the next royal baby’s title would be after he or she is born.
Even though Kate Middleton is yet to give birth to her and Prince William’s third child, Inquisitr has already revealed what his or her official royal title would be.
A royal expert named Marlene Koenig told Town & Country that the baby will be called His or Her Royal Highness Prince or Princess (name) of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
Although, since Prince William is a royal duke – The Duke of Cambridge – his children would not be called as such in common moments.
Just like Prince George and Princess Charlotte, Middleton and Prince William’s two kids, the new baby will be called His or Her Royal Highness Prince or Princess (name) of Cambridge.
Because of the royal rules, the baby will technically be a commoner when he or she is born. The reason for it is because the title “royal” is only reserved for people who have official royal titles, such as duke, earl, baron, and others.
This only means that Prince Harry can be considered a commoner. Although, the Queen might bestow upon him a royal title when he exchanges vows with Meghan Markle in May 2018.
Express previously reported that Middleton is expecting to give birth in April 2018 at the Lindo Wing of St. Mary’s Hospital in Paddington.
She began her maternity leave on March 22, 2018. The last royal engagement she went to was an appearance at the Olympic Park for a SpotAid event, as well as the Commonwealth Big Lunch and Commonwealth quiz.
The hospital, as well as the Palace, has been reportedly busy in preparation for Middleton’s birth, according to Us Weekly.
The next royal baby will be the fifth in line to inherit the British throne.
