Police are currently on the lookout for a 10-year-old girl that went missing after an argument with her parents.
The girl, Daniela Ruano-Morales, is believed to have left her home in Aurora, Colorado, on her own accord after a verbal fight with her parents, who contacted the authorities a few hours later.
The Aurora Police Department has taken to its Twitter account to ask the community for help in finding Daniela and bringing her back safe and sound.
The 10-year-old was last seen at around 10 a.m. at her home in the 1900 block of Elmira Street, but there is no evidence of foul play related to the case. Follow us on our Twitter account @amomama_usa to learn more.
NEIGHBORS WERE INTERROGATED
According to Crystal McCoy, a spokesperson for the Aurora Police Department, on Monday night officers went from door-to-door in the neighborhood.
They tried their best to collect information regarding Daniela and her whereabouts but they weren't able to learn much other than what the family had told them.
APPEAL TO THE PUBLIC
None of the neighbors saw Daniela leave the house and no one has seen her since, prompting the Police to ask anyone who might happen to see her to call 911.
Daniela is described as being Hispanic, 4 feet 10 inches tall and weighing 65 pounds. She has a slim build, brown hair and brown eyes, and the last time she was spotted, she was wearing a gray tank top and sweatpants with flowers printed on them.
ANOTHER GIRL MISSING
But Daniela isn't the only 10-year-old that is currently missing; Ashley Johnson-Barr, from Kotzebue, in Alaska, has also disappeared and her parents haven't heard from her since September 6.
Her uncle, Wayne Booth-Johnson, who flew from Kiana to Kotzebue to comfort the rest of the family, revealed that disappearing just like that was something that his niece wouldn't do.
Given the lack of leads, the Alaska State Troopers have requested the FBI's help and the agency promptly sent 15 agents to Alaska to aid in the search for the girl, who is still believed to be alive.
